In collaboration with instructors and textbook publishers, Century College has created the Direct Digital access program in order to reduce the overall cost of textbooks for students.

Direct Digital materials cost less than the cost of a physical textbook or a separately purchased access code, however, they are not free. You will see a charge for your Direct Digital materials on your student bill posted in eServices.*

When a class uses Direct Digital, the required materials for the class will be available to students digitally through their myCentury Landing page and the D2L Brightspace icon.

Access to the course D2L site and materials begins the first day of the semester. Depending on the textbook and course your instructor has selected, Direct Digital access may contain extra course materials like tutorials, activities, and practice tests required for the class.

*If you prefer to have a physical textbook to replace the digital materials, you may "opt-out" of the digital textbook and can place a special order for a printed copy through the bookstore.  The bookstore recommends speaking with your instructor before choosing this option as some direct digital materials include required coursework for the class and you will loose access to that portion of your course.
