FINANCIAL AID IN THE BOOKSTORE
Financial Aid is available for use as payment in the bookstore to students who have been awarded Financial Aid and who have funds that exceed the amount of their tuition and fees. Financial Aid allows a student to charge their textbooks and supplies at the Bookstore up to $750. Students in specialty programs like Auto Service Technician, Auto Body, Cosmetology, and Nursing may be authorized to charge more to cover the cost of required program materials. In most cases authorization from the Financial Aid Office on campus will be required.
Charges made against your Financial Aid in the bookstore will be deducted from your normal financial aid disbursement. Financial Aid disbursement occurs 2 full weeks after the start of each term. Please note, this date varies each term and is adjusted for holidays to allow time for processing. After this date you will no longer be able to use your Financial Aid in-store or online at with the bookstore. If you have any questions about your Financial Aid amount or availability please reach out to the bookstore staff. If you have questions about your disbursement please contact the business office at [email protected].
